The Veiled House Series

For eleven years David lived alone in a house hidden from view under a veil of bittersweet vines. Without heat or electricity he managed to somehow survive alone in his childhood home surrounded by memories of earlier times. After his passing the house lay abandoned and open to the elements slowly collapsing from decay and neglect, symbolic of a tragic end to a once hopeful life. These fine art photographs are a record of the house and its contents leading up to its eventual destruction to make way for a new home and begin the cycle again.

“In the arts, feeling is always meaning – Henry James.”
